In Search of iPod Gear
Monday, June 02, 2008

Some of you who visit my site already know this, but some of you don't so I'll yammer on about it again because I'm bored.

After years of fighting it, I have succumb Apple's marketing ploys and have ended up buying an Apple iPod. Despite my faultering, I did manage to hold on to my senses and stay clear of the iPod Touch (iTouch??) which to me seemed too pricey for the amount of storage space that they offered. What I got was the black 80GB iPod Classic which has ample space for my music collection and some movies that I want to keep in it.

Now, I know that I am behind the social curve with iPods. Most of you probably own several of them and can navigate them with one hand tied behind your back. Well, it may have taken a while but now I'm on board and eager to learn what kind of neat things I can do with this gizmo.

So, how do you use your iPod? What kind of gear should a newbie like me be getting to keep it protected? What kind of cool gadgets and accessories should I be looking for? Let me know what your thoughts about this and help a monkey catch up in the iPod world.
